Benjamin Hunley is 11 years old and is a fifth grader at Millersburg Elementary School, in Millersburg, Indiana. He is the son of Don and Chris Hunley. He has one older brother who is a senior in high school. Benjamin began his quarter midget racing at the Kokomo Quarter Midget Club as a novice in April 2006 when he was 10 years old. In 2006, he raced most of the year in the Sr. Novice class, winning several heats and features. He moved up to the Sr. Honda class in September, and won a B-main feature at Kokomo. Also in 2006, Benjamin raced at several Regional races, traveling as far away as Columbus Ohio. At the Indoor Winter Nationals Series for 2007 at Columbus Ohio, he won several lower mains, and transferred to the A-main once. Benjamin will be racing in Sr. Honda and Light 160 this year in club races, and several state and regional races. His goals for the 2007 season are to finish in the top five in Sr. Honda and Light 160 divisions at Kokomo. When Benjamin is not racing, he also enjoys playing baseball, practicing on his skateboard and playing his game cube.
